Audio atelier

Refurbishing your audio equipment

A component can be technically faultless and still look like forty years in an attic.

This is about everything you see and touch: wooden cases and veneer, brushed or anodised front panels, yellowed dial glass, clouded windows, worn knobs and switches, rubbed-off lettering. The work goes into the substance — nothing is lacquered over, nothing is covered up.

We draw the line deliberately: patina that tells the story of a component stays. A fifty-year-old does not become a new component, but the best example of its year. Whatever is missing or beyond saving we replace — and we tell you what is original and what is not.
