B795

With the B795, Revox went its own way: the tangential tonearm guides the cartridge across the record in a straight line – just as the groove was originally cut. Combined with the direct drive, the result is a long-lived, remarkably robust turntable without superfluous frills, and one that is wonderfully simple to operate.

Fitted is the high-quality ELAC D796 H30 MM cartridge with a new stylus, so the turntable is ready to play straight away. The housing has been repainted in the original Revox grey (not Nextel) and looks suitably elegant, with a pleasing feel.

A special feature of our example is the dust cover from our own workshop: 4.2-millimetre, high-grade clear acrylic with the Revox logo flush-inlaid on both the inside and the outside. This execution, in this quality, is available only from us.

Technically, the B795 was completely disassembled and cleaned internally by qualified audio technicians; around 15 small parts, components and capacitors were replaced and the solder joints inspected and resoldered, complemented by maintenance and alignment to the manufacturer's service manual and a safety test to DIN VDE 0701/0702. The deck comes from its first owner and a well-kept non-smoking household; the electronics are covered by our 24-month warranty.

Completely overhauled / REVISED by a qualified audio technician from 04/2026
