Made in Germany and built around the big 845 triode: the MFE Tube One Reference SE 845 in its Signature Edition is a stereo tube power amplifier with a manufacturer's list price of 9,500 to 10,700 euros. An auto-bias circuit continuously monitors the 845 tubes, which makes day-to-day operation refreshingly straightforward.
Connections are provided as RCA as well as balanced XLR. A phase indicator light confirms correct mains orientation — when the light is off, the plug is inserted correctly. The protective cover above the tubes can be removed with the supplied screwdriver. Beyond the standard specification, this amplifier has also been upgraded with high-quality WBT speaker terminals with pure copper cores — a genuine benefit in the signal path.
The amplifier comes from its first owner, who bought it new in November 2023; we took it in trade together with the complete MFE Tube One system (see our other listings). Cosmetically and technically it presents in absolutely mint condition, with no hum from the speakers and no irregularities or damage. A video confirming flawless operation is available.
Supplied is the original 240-volt version (convertible to 115 volts) with original packaging and a standard power cord. Shipping takes place with the tubes removed: two original 845s in OEM quality, two PL84s and one Telefunken E88CC; the long screwdriver for the protective cover is included. Everything is packed with great care.
