1000 SE

Solid oak cabinets, quality drivers from Vifa and a frequency range of 30 to 32,000 Hz: the German-built MB Quart 1000 SE draws a remarkably assured, pleasant sonic picture at high and low volumes alike. The bass reflex port sits at the front, which makes placement in the listening room flexible and straightforward.

This pair is also a one-off: the special pearl-effect grey finish and the foam rubber inlays, which incidentally help absorb sound in the room, never existed in this form from the factory. The look is modern yet timeless and blends into a wide variety of listening rooms.

During the refurbishment in November 2021, the cabinets were completely rebuilt cosmetically; on the technical side, all components were checked and serviced, and the 25 mm titanium dome tweeters received a ferrofluid treatment. The 3-way bass reflex system combines a 195 mm woofer with a 160 mm midrange driver, handles 200 watts and achieves 91 dB sensitivity at 4 ohms.

Supplied as a pair with grille frames; no further accessories are included.
