Subwoofer-Kabel

Subwoofers make their own demands on signal cabling: often long runs across the room, and low frequencies that need to arrive intact. ViaBlue's answer in the NF-B subwoofer RCA cable is a coaxial construction — a generously sized inner conductor of fine OFC copper strands, purpose-designed for the bass range, wrapped in a dielectric, followed by a semi-conductive LDPE layer and two counter-wound spiral shields of bare and tinned OFC copper.

A flexible, ultra-soft audio jacket completes the build. The triple shielding keeps interference away from the signal, capacitance is 125 pF/m, and ViaBlue quotes a break-in time of around 20 hours.

Available lengths are 100, 250, 500 and 800 cm — the 500 cm version is the most commonly used, and the price depends on the length chosen. This offer covers one cable; a stereo connection via RCA L/R requires two, while the LFE input needs just one. We recommend choosing the length generously — with subwoofers in particular, a little slack pays off when positioning.
