Reference Type C

Flat ribbon cables with parallel conductors of pure silver are a rare sight even in the high-end world. That is exactly how VI-Audio's Reference Type C is built: the silver conductors run side by side in a flat ribbon roughly 60 mm wide, terminated with Graham Nalty GN-3 RCA connectors. Design and workmanship are of a high technical standard.

In our own listening test, the cable stood out for its openness in the treble: fine, highly resolved tones emerge more clearly, details remain audible, and the soundstage opens up noticeably. Anyone curious to experiment with an RCA cable of this unusual construction will find an appealing opportunity here.

The cable is a one-off that came to us through a trade-in; we currently have no further details about the manufacturer, though it is clearly a very high-priced accessory, which is reflected in our pricing. The length is 100 cm. Minor signs of use are present; technically the cable has been tested and works flawlessly.

Very good condition. Technically tested item with 100% function. Optically with small
