SC-6 Air Silver Single Wire

Six conductors arranged in a circle around a central air pipe, each subdivided into six further strands around additional air pipes: the construction of the SC-6 Air Silver shows how seriously ViaBlue takes its reference speaker cable. A total of 684 individual strands of selected, chemically pure OFC copper, 36 signal conductors and ten air pipes add up to an overall diameter of 26 millimetres, with treble, midrange and bass transmitted in isolation from one another.

ViaBlue assigns each range its own conductor type: silver-plated OFC strands for the highs, tinned strands for the midrange, bare copper for the bass. Combined with very low capacitance of around 63 and 91 pF/m respectively (conductor to conductor) and minimal inductance, the cable is designed to deliver a clear, spacious sound picture with sharply defined detail.

As an authorized ViaBlue dealer we supply the cable as a pair in single-wire configuration with latest-generation T8 banana plugs at both ends. Length (150 to 750 cm) and colour can be chosen when ordering; spades, special lengths and other configurations are available on request. We recommend allowing a little extra length, as it makes positioning and later changes to your setup much easier.
