SC-6 Air Silver Bi-Amping

At 26 millimetres overall diameter, the SC-6 AIR Silver announces itself as ViaBlue's reference speaker cable at first glance. Six individual conductors are arranged in a circle around a central airpipe and transmit treble, midrange and bass isolated from one another; each of these conductors is in turn divided into six sub-conductors arranged around further airpipes. In total: 36 signal conductors, 10 air channels and 684 individual strands of selected, chemically high-purity OFC copper.

For each frequency range, ViaBlue chooses the appropriate conductor surface: silver-plated strands for brilliant highs, tinned strands for a faithfully detailed midrange, bare strands for powerful bass. The circular grouping into bundles of six avoids charge being stored in the cable, prevents inductance from building up and keeps capacitance very low at around 63 and 91 pF/m respectively (conductor to conductor) – signal transmission remains complete and fast.

The aim of this elaborate construction: a crystal-clear sonic picture with brilliant highs and expressive, dynamic bass on a spacious stage where individual musical elements stand out distinctly from one another.

On offer is the bi-amping termination, fitted on both ends with latest-generation T8 banana plugs (one pair, 2 pieces). Length and cable colour can be chosen – 150 to 750 cm are available – as can combinations with spades; special lengths and other connectors are possible on request.
