B160

FM was never a sideline for Revox: at around 1,700 DM new in 1990, the B160 cost serious money for a tuner and made the brand's high-end ambitions plain. Alongside first-class stereo sound, the FM tuner offers a generous feature set that includes RDS.

As part of the Revox system philosophy, the B160 supports the IR remote system and can be operated with a system remote control such as the B208 (not included). It thus adds an exceptionally fine radio source to an existing Revox setup.

Our example, from its first owner and a well-kept non-smoking household, has been fully overhauled by qualified audio technicians: complete disassembly, around 12 replaced small parts, components and capacitors, inspected and resoldered solder joints, plus maintenance and alignment to the manufacturer's service manual and a safety test to DIN VDE 0701/0702. The electronics are covered by our 24-month warranty.
