Concept MC 7866

A boron cantilever and a ceramic-coated aluminium-magnesium body – with the Concept MC, Clearaudio uses ingredients more commonly found in higher price brackets. The moving-coil cartridge stands for a very neutral tonal balance with convincing spatial imaging, engaging dynamics and remarkable bass reach.

Mounting is sensibly handled: threaded holes allow the cartridge to be bolted from above at the usual half-inch spacing, and the straight body edges make alignment noticeably easier. It suits all common tonearms and tracks very well.

Our example has seen little use – roughly 50 to 100 playing hours – and is in technically excellent original condition. Mounting screws and the original box are not included; shipping is well protected in a substitute box and insured for the full value of the goods. Auditioning and personal collection in Wuppertal are possible by appointment.

High-quality MC cartridge system for demanding phono playback. Very lightly used,
